About

I started my first company in the education space while in college then grew it and sold it. After some time in entertainment in front of and behind the camera, I discovered that I’m happiest when I can bring my Swiss Army knife of skills and talents to work that’s intellectually stimulating. 

I took a sabbatical to figure out what would allow me to live my ideals every day versus waiting for “some day” or retirement. I engineered a career that meant traveling the world for work and play and working with smart, creative people I like and respect. The context frequently changes. The dedication to making things and making things happen remains. 

I’ve launched a series of ventures -  some successful, some not - in media and technology. I deepened my understanding of how these two spaces impact culture and decided I wanted to build at the intersection of the two.

My superpowers are empathy, problem-solving, and storytelling. I bring these along with my wit and wisdom to everything I do. 

Now I’m stealthily building something new that lights me up and leverages my advantages.

Practically, this means I spend time: 

• building ventures and products

• telling stories - real and imagined

• recording my top rated podcast, Behind the Brilliance

• leading and collaborating with teams of amazing people

• feeding my insatiable curiosity with ideas, conversations, and information 

I’m grateful I get to do what I do and create work/life harmony. I see my wins as gifts and my failures as lessons. I’m constantly pushing myself out of my comfort zone to interrogate what’s possible. We’ll see what happens next.
